Description: This bursary is offered annually to an undergraduate student who is a resident of Saskatchewan and who will attend either the University of Regina or the University of Saskatchewan. One bursary is awarded for the University of Regina and a separate bursary for the University of Saskatchewan. Selection is based on academic achievement, sportsmanship, and leadership. Eligibility

Eligibility: Applicants must be residents of Saskatchewan and enrolled as undergraduate students at either the University of Regina or the University of Saskatchewan. Applicants are required to register for a full academic load for a full academic year as defined by the chosen institution. Eligibility for the award is contingent on meeting the institution’s full-time registration requirements for the ensuing school year. Winners must provide documentation required for award payment and taxation.

Required Documentation

Documentation: Applications must include an official final transcript of marks for all post-secondary years attended, issued by the post-secondary institution. Applicants must provide letters of reference that address sportsmanship and leadership; acceptable referees include a community leader, Masonic lodge member, coach, teacher, police officer, or religious leader. A personal letter is required outlining extracurricular activities and future educational goals. The bursary will be awarded only after the recipient provides proof of full-time registration and their Social Insurance Number for income tax purposes.
