Description

This scholarship is awarded annually to undergraduate students who have completed at least one year of post-secondary study and who plan to continue their education at an institution in Saskatchewan. It supports students enrolled at universities, Saskatchewan Polytechnic, or comparable post-secondary institutions within the province. Recipients must meet residency and family-relationship requirements tied to a Master Mason in good standing. The award is intended to recognize and encourage continued academic progress within Saskatchewan.

Eligibility

Applicants must be residents of Saskatchewan and must be the child or grandchild of a Master Mason who is currently in good standing. Candidates are required to have completed at least one full academic year of post-secondary education. Eligible applicants must plan to register full-time for the entire upcoming academic year at a Saskatchewan post-secondary institution. Proof of the familial Masonic relationship may be requested as part of the application.

Selection Criteria

Recipients are chosen based on academic achievement, sportsmanship, and leadership. The selection committee evaluates official transcripts and supporting materials to assess these attributes. Award confirmation is conditional on submission of the winner’s Social Insurance Number for tax reporting and verification of full-time registration for the upcoming year. Successful applicants will receive official written notification.

Application Requirements

Applicants must submit official final transcripts for all post-secondary years attended and a personal letter outlining extracurricular activities, educational goals, and the applicant’s Masonic relationship. Documents must be official and issued by the educational institution. Applications missing required documents will not be processed, and receipt of each application will be confirmed by the awarding body. Only complete applications received by the stated deadline will be considered.
